The idea of the World Tour of the Information Society is being proposed building on the success of the "Tour de France des Térritoires", which was beyond any expectation. We are are currently in an open consultation phase or brainstorming phase. The concept is being discussed : Would it be an official UN-run event like the WSIS ?, an initiative of the sole Civil Society ?, or a multi-stakeholder partnership ?. Everything is open.
